As an Employment business, we are obliged to provide a Key Information Document (KID) to temporary workers who register with us on or after the 6th of April 2020 (Regulation 13A of the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003). We do not give a KID to candidates looking for permanent or fixed-term contracts directly with a client. All candidates that successfully register with Trent Nursing are given the KID before agreeing on terms of engagement.
KID does not Include all the terms of the contract between Trent Nursing and the temporary worker; however, the purpose of the KID is to improve transparency, specifically concerning pay. Details of the contractual terms are set out in a separate document. There are three types of KID as guided by The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), each for use when engaging the temporary worker on direct PAYE, through a personal service company (PSC) or an intermediary such as an umbrella company.
Trent Nursing does not have to issue a new KID for each assignment, but we are obliged to issue a new KID when the information changes, e.g. a new deduction.
